Always a popular event with our students, the annual Jog-a-Thon is slated for the morning of Friday, October 6th. This school-wide event helps to promotes physical fitness, builds school spirit and is fun for students, staff and volunteers!
Each student will be provided with an information packet and pledge sheet to collect donations. Students raise money by asking their ‘fans’ for support through a pledge, either a flat rate or per lap amount. After their 30-minute fun run, participants will be provided an icy treat, and a prize for those that collect at least one donation. Top individual donations and classes will also earn fun prizes and pizza parties for top fundraising classes Grades K-2 and 3-5! Detailed information on prizes, pledges and the event will be provided in the Red Folders within the next few weeks.
Let’s SMASH the fundraising goal of $10,500- that’s just $15 per student- we can do it! The PTA will be accepting donations on-line via PayPal in addition to cash pledges for the Jog-A-Thon.
